The bell finally rang for school dance dismissal and I sighed hurtfully. God knows what I'm going to face at home today because I know Amber is definitely going to tell her mother that I'm responsible for whatever happened to her.

"Why are you sighing heavily like that?"

I looked to my side and saw Kingsley looking at me. He looked.. calm like he cared and I'm wondering why right now.

"Are you ignoring me?" He asked.

"No, not at all." I shook my head negatively.

"Then, answer my question." He said.

What question did he ask again? Gracious Lord! I forgot. How am I gonna answer him...
