Tessa walked briskly through the long corridor; she didn't even wait for Pedro despite the fact that he had told her to wait. She just wanted to get to Regina as fast as she could. Her heart felt heavy in her chest as she approached Regina’s room, like a gloomy pendant hung over her neck. She paused for a brief moment at the door, took a deep breath, then quietly turned the knob and stepped inside.
