As the aircraft began its descent into Seychelles International Airport, the cabin lights came back in full beam, casting a soft glow over the passengers.

Most of them had fallen asleep and the bright lights jarred them from sleep.

The air hostess’s voice crackled through the intercom, her tone calm and welcoming.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we are now beginning our final approach into Victoria, Seychelles. The local time is 9:45 PM, and the temperature is a pleasant 27 degrees Celsius. Please ensure your seatbelts are fastened, your seatbacks are upright, and your tray tables are stowed. We hope you have enjoyed your flight with us.”
