The limousine glided to a halt beneath the grand porte-cochère of the Coral Vista Resort, its tastefully exterior was lusciously blessed with flowers , the soft glow of lanterns that lined the entrance with night air as was warm as though a humidifier was on, or was it the sweet fragrant, carrying the scent of frangipani and the distant murmur of waves.

A doorman in crisp white attire stepped forward, opening the vehicle’s door with a welcoming smile.

“Welcome to Coral Vista Resort,” he said, his voice tinged with the melodic accent of the islands. “We’ve been expecting you all.”
