I scanned every corner of this event, but I couldn’t find her. I started to worry. I took a few deep breathes to calm down. 

After I welcomed some guests, I paid my regards to my parents. I texted Lud and Ash. They were in one of the rooms, monitoring the situation in and out of the gala.
