I woke up with a painful headache. It felt like my head was going to split. What was going on with me?

"Are you okay?" I heard someone ask. That voice seemed to be worried. "Are you awake?" The voice asked again.

I tried to open my eyes, but it was too heavy. I was awake, but I couldn’t open my eyes. Was I blind now?
