I hurried out of her room and ran back to the maid's quarters. Unfortunately, I bumped into Lily's sidekicks.

A simple apology wouldn't cut it, but I still muttered one, and took a step, but got pulled back.

"Why are you in a hurry?" Mirinda asked, crossing her arms over her chest. "Did you do something shameful again? Who did you kill this time?"

I looked at her. And then at her girls. It was obvious they were trying to initiate a fight. But I knew better than to fall for their trick.
