I slowly opened my eyes to find that I wasn’t in my room.

“You are awake, my king.” I heard David's voice. Why is he here? Is my queen sick?

I groaned and sat on my bed.

“My king, are you alright?” He asked again.

“David, why are you here?" I asked. "Is something wrong with the queen?”

He laughed. “What is funny, David?” I looked around the room. “Where am I? Where is my mate?”

“My king, the queen is fine. I’m glad to see you’re healthy again.” I was about to ask him another question when Ivanna ran in.
