"Where have you been?" Ace asked as I opened the door to our room. It was surprising to see him back at this hour.

"What are you doing here? Why are you not working?"

"Ah, right. You thought I'd work all day and that's why you went out, right?" He chuckled. "You went to see that friend of yours again, didn't you? Why? Is she that important? Even more important than me?"

Was he being jealous right now? Still, that wasn't an excuse enough to talk about her in such a condescending tone. It made me angry. I wanted to punch him in the face....
