Ivanna's Pov.

Knock! Knock!

We heard someone knock on the door. Ace stood to go check who it was. A maid came in and bowed. She was the queen's maid.

"Greetings, My King,"

"What's wrong, Lucy? Why are you here?" Ace quizzed her.

"My King." She bowed again, hesitating to say anything more.

"Lift your head and answer my question. What is going on?"

"It's the senior queen, my king," she replied.

"My Mother? What about her?"

"She's sick, My King," the maid confessed with a sob. "She's terribly sick."

What? I got out of the bed in shock. "Have you informed the pack's doctor?"...
