Aldrich entered the ward to find it completely empty. He creased his brow as he walked further into the room. There was no sign of Adriana nor the guard.

He pinched the bridge of his nose as his eyes scanned the entire room. Then, his eyes dawned on one of Adriana earrings on the floor. He bent and picked it up, his hand caressing it.

"Asshole," he gritted his teeth. A nurse entered at that moment, her brows furrowed when she met the ward completely empty.

"Did you move your wife out of the ward?" She asked. He turned to her and she flinched at his murderous glare.

"Show me...
