Still at the castle

The sadness on Imogen's face couldn't go unnoticed and Kayden wondered why she looked so distorted.

"Imogen?" He called out to her not taking his eyes off her half exposed twins.

"Yes" she managed to fake a smile as well as hold back her pain.

"What is wrong ?" He asked and cupped her face , looking back to see if Emma was watching them, but she was too busy smiling at the mirror and trying on her jewelry.

"Nothing" Imogen lied again.

"Is it because I tried to k*ll you? Believe me, it was an honest mistake and an accident" Kayden pretended not to know...
