Noah turned to Caleb, his eyes black pits of murder. "Get him to the infirmary. And then... find those fucking Vultures. Find every single one of them."

I swayed. The world tilted on its axis. The shock, the cold water, the terror of the chandelier, the sight of Jake... it was too much.

A wave of heat washed over me, but I was freezing. My vision blurred into gray static.

"Noah..." I whispered.

I felt my knees give way.

The last thing I felt before the darkness took me was Noah's arms catching me.
