I stood at the door looking confused. I just finished cooking and I came to call Avery downstairs but what I heard made me stop.

She was threatening someone but who? I heard her talk about the kidnap so I think it's Leah but I'm not sure about that.

What did Avery discuss with Leah that evening? If only I could know what they talked about, then I would have the answers to my questions.

I sighed tiredly before knocking the door.
