I had already tucked Ella to bed and was about sleeping when I heard the intercom. I stood up to get it immediately to avoid getting on the boss' bad side.

"Skylar get dressed, I need you to accompany me to somewhere" he said and ended the call

Huh? I should accompany him somewhere this night? Is he serious?

Oh goodness! What have I gotten myself into?

I checked my wardrobe for a dress and freshened up before changing into it. I applied light make over and went downstairs.
