Moacyr is thrilled with the news from Romualdo, that Adrian will have a job at Silva Constructions. He stands up and extends his hand to greet him: "Thank you so much, Mr. Silva! I'm sure my son won't waste this opportunity!"

Romualdo hesitantly shakes Moacyr's hand. He does not want to tell the deluded father what he is planning for the indigestible Adrian.

After Moacyr leaves, Josias and Melissa are almost having a heart attack when they hear the news.
