The New Normal

Deimos gave me a pat on my shoulder, just before he walked around me and left the room. He didn't forget to close the door after him, making a soft thud as he did.

"How are you doing, babe?" I simply asked Phoebe, slowly making my way towards her. Just as I was near her, I joined her on the bed to lay down beside her, "I'm sorry you had to go through it alone."
