"It's fine, Jayden, I promise," I got off the bed and pulled away the duvet I had wrapped around myself. 

"I know, but it's your mother. She's always demanding and stuff and I just don't want to put you around people that don't make you comfortable anymore, I could honestly pull them out of your life is you want," he said and I shook my head as violently as I could to get the message of my disapproval across.
