A bolt of loneliness hit me as soon as I got home and realized that it was empty. 

Had Jayden followed us? Did my parents go shopping with Shawn's money again or were they out on another vacation? 

I didn't have an answer and it was draining. I didn't want to reflect, all I wanted was to be in my brother's arms, but he was absent at the time I needed him the most.
