"We will be back soon, I promise. Just a cup of coffee," I pleaded until she eventually gave in. 

"Why are you going there?" She asked as I took the curve that led to the underground parking lot. 

"The car?"

"No, let's walk, you said it's just a few blocks away, right?" She asked and I nodded.

"Yes, ten minutes tops." 

"That's okay then, I need to breath," she said and I skipped my steps to her side feeling glad for the extra minutes we will get to spend together. 

"So tell me, what did the doctor say? How bad was it?" She asked but I shook my head.
