Six months after Andrew came along, everyone was popping up pregnant. There must be something in the water, and they all must drink it, including Ruth.

Paige was trying to be happy for her friends. But to hear they were expecting, and she wasn’t. It made her feel inadequate. She was far from it. The doctors said it was one of those things each time she miscarried, which was complete bullshit.

I got tired of them not giving us any answers and Paige feeling like it was her fault. I took her to a specialist. We needed answers.
