Thalia shut her laptop with a slight slam, holding back the irritation that had been weighing on her chest all evening. The report for tomorrow’s meeting was already neatly finished, the file saved on her flash drive, and the backup sent through email. She rose from her chair, tidied her small bag, and grabbed her phone. The clock showed it was almost eleven at night.

“I have to leave,” she muttered softly.
