ARIA’S POV

I carefully observed just how pale his expression had become. His grip grew weak and it was my chance to gently take the paper from him.

“She's declaring war,” I said, after reading her note.

“Arghhhh!” Draven yelled loudly, pressing hard on his lower abdomen. He struggled not to drop to the ground, but his growling grew louder, drawing the attention of all the pack members outside and even a few in hiding.
