ARIA’S POV

“Tell me!”

I was a desperate woman in need of an explanation.

Some explanation.

Just something to make me feel like I knew what I was up against.

I couldn’t possibly fight to win, or resolve a problem if I didn’t even know the cause.

“A secret,” The Queen blurted.

The tears flowing from my eyes stopped and dried up almost instantly.

“What secret?”

“Draven and you managed to overcome all of the external barriers keeping you apart and a few of the internal ones,” the Queen explained, “the fear and pain stopping you from being with each other, but there still exists some guilt.”
