Chapter 2 2

Chapter 2 2

He pushed her towards him, ordering, "Book her in the back room and offer her food and drink. Do not allow her to leave her; do you understand?" »

And Zakaria prompted him to carry out his orders without hesitation or inaction, and would he dare to ask him? No, he doesn't dare, because that's how he trained since his childhood. Jayden's orders are not refused, discussed, or questioned for any reason, and this understanding between them is the main reason for his remaining throughout those centuries as his loyal servant and helper.

He followed his gaze for a moment, disappearing in the hall, and then went back to the forest to meet Isaiah, and they had to comb the beach to make sure that there were no other intruders.

He has lived for three hundred years on this island without ever revealing himself or encountering an incident like this one; no human being has ever reached him, nor have a very small number of vampires.

passersby,

Either they go their way without incurring into the island, or they are eliminated when they discover their headquarters, and certainly the sirens, those monsters that roam around Bermuda in search of victims and prey on them with greed and brutality.

Zakaria came out of the whole house, closing the door behind him and breathing tightly. She ruptured his eardrums with her continuous screaming and hit the door violently until she urged him to flee from the whole house.

"Zechariah, what is this screaming coming from the house?" Carmen important asked him to enter, and he stood in her path, preventing her progress.

"You can't go in; Jaden is outside."

Carmen raised an eyebrow, watching him suspiciously, listening to the screaming and insults coming from inside, trying to enter again, so he met her this time by pulling his dagger in her face, ordering "Retreat."

"What happens inside, to those who scream and curse?"

She shouted at him in a commanding tone, thinking that she would frighten him. Carmen, the woman whom everyone fears, is a domineering, cruel, and ruthless female who, despite all those qualities for which she is famous, does not get tired or bored of her failed attempts to win Jayden to her. She left no way or method, but she tried it or applied it to him to no avail, as she always ends up being thrown out without even a word of thanks from him in return for the services that she persistently offered him.

She doesn't want to understand that Jayden was not created to allow a woman to get any of his feelings or even give them to her, until he finally starts to believe that his master has a stone in his chest in the place of that heart that should have been there, and Carmen does not want to give in to that fact.

"What is happening here?"

They both turned to hear Jaden's voice behind them, accompanied by Isaiah and Rakan.

"Oh, Jayden, here you are," Carmen said in a tone that tried to seem charming to get out of her in a way that was suspicious and laughable. She approached him, and he darkened his eyes, warning her to dare and take an extra step towards him. She stood on the ground, equivocating.

"I was passing by, and I heard screaming coming from inside. What is happening?

He was about to ask Zacharias about any screaming when the sound of screaming rose again, accompanied by ugly insults and continuous knocking on the door. Zacharias quickly said

"She hadn't stopped screaming for more than two hours; she was unconscious for some time, and when I woke up, it was as if the gates of hell had opened wide inside the house."

Jayden signalled to his companions to follow him, pointing to Carmen to stay away from his goal, so she did without fail, watching his back disappear into his house, followed by Isaiah and Rakan, and then Zakaria, who closed the door in her face without apology.

"We have to know how she got here and whether she is alone. It is a matter to be reckoned with, especially since these incidents have begun to recur and will contribute to exposing our matter," Isaiah said from behind him.

"According to her saying that she does not remember anything, either she is lying or she really does not remember," Jayden replied.

"Well, it is a very easy matter. We can sense if she is lying, especially if she is forgetful. These people have feelings that overwhelm all their actions. We can smell their lies before we even feel them." Rakan added.

Jaden reached the desired room, hesitating to open it, commenting, "Okay, get ready for the worst smell ever. You'll be dying to smell it for a second."

He opened the door, and she stumbled towards him, stumbling in his arms, cutting off her barrage of insults the moment she found herself against his chest, feeling the stiffness and rigidity of his body.

She looked up at him hesitantly, shocked by his cold and cruel look, sending goosebumps all over her body and causing her feelings and contradictions to scatter.

She opened and closed her mouth, and then opened it again, muttering in a weak tone, begging for his sympathy. "Why did you imprison me in that room? I need to go to the bathroom. I need to go to the bathroom right now, or I won't be responsible for what's going on."

Isaiah, Zacharias, and Rakan retreated at once, closing their noses with their palms, jogging outside the house, and pulling her away from the house, drawing her towards the bathroom. He opened the door and pushed her inside, leaning on her and saying, "Take off these clothes for heaven's sake." He went out, closing the door behind him.

She looked around her strangely, observing the small, primitive bathroom. The tools did not know what to do or where to comfort themselves, so she went back to the door, opened it, inflating her chest, and got ready to call him, only to be surprised by Zakaria in front of her carrying a giant barrel of water.

He held his breath and took him to the bathroom, telling her, "There, in that small hole, you can take care of your needs, and in this basin, you can wash." He opened a small cupboard with a mirror facing it.

To clean your hair and body, please put your clothes in the trash, and I will bring you a replacement." And he went out.

.............

"What are you going to do with it?" Isaiah asked him to devour lamb stew with a complete appetite.

"I don't know, frankly, I don't know; maybe I'll interrogate her, and when I'm done with her, I'll get rid of her."

He replied coldly, devouring him, too.

Rakan lifted his eyes from his plate and stared at him for a moment before commenting, "You should kill her, so stay here; as long as she has no way back, she won't be able to tell about us."

"I can't take the risk; you know, if Kayden knew we existed, he would wage war on us, destroying everything we've built for all those centuries."

Rakan nodded his head, understanding his motives. He knows that Kayden is not a tyrant like his father, but this matter will not change the bitter truth, such as the bitterness that governs their situation in this matter. He and his followers died and disappeared from view for good.

She finished washing her, regaining her freshness with a soap that smelled of flowers, and she wore a purple dress that Zakaria brought to her, only to find it was way beyond her size. What she remembers from the tape of her life, which does not exceed two days,

She followed the scent to find herself standing at the entrance to the small kitchen crowded with four males of huge bodies in length and width, frightening her and making her think of retreating and running away before they could see her.

She's not human, she's not a vampire, she's definitely not a Sirana, and what is she?

The four of them stood up at once, arousing her panic. She retreating a few steps back, lying on her back, Isaiah was the first to reach her, kneeling near her, asking her, "Are you okay?"

She stared at him in complete astonishment, unable to hide her look from his cruel and handsome features at the same time, his warm eyes the colour of a clear spring sky, and the colour of his glowing golden skin.

He extended a hand for her to help her stand, so the sounds of hem-humping around them appealed to draw their attention, so Isaiah moved away, making way for her to enter the small kitchen eloquently.

"You have to excuse our barbarity when we started eating without waiting for you, as we are not used to having females in the house, as you know," he said, stroking his thick honeyed hair as if he was trying to look good in front of her.

Rakan grunted, trying to hide his laughter, returning to his plate and saying, "Isaiah, my dear, what is wrong with your cheeks turning red like virgins?"

Isaiah compelled him, threateningly, to push her gently in front of him, noting that she would rather run away from them than sit with them, and whoever blames her thinks between him and himself...

He allowed her to sit at the table in the place of Zacharias, who was still standing nearby, and offered her a plate, addressing her gently, "Eat; you look very hungry; eat; and do not be afraid of these savages; I am here."

She sat fighting a fierce battle inside her, an exhausting mixture of fear, hunger and dread, she peeked around the round table watching them all watching her carefully as if she would pounce on them at any moment, and then she returned to her plate, overpowered by hunger, so she surrendered to him holding the wooden spoon, close the plate directly to her with food silently, on At least, if they were going to kill her, they would do that after she filled her stomach with this dish whose taste is indescribable in any way but delicious in an indescribable way, and soon she forgot that they were immersed in her dish, devouring it with complete appetite and did not take her eyes off him until she finished ashamed by asking for more.

"What is your name?" Rakan asked her, contemplating her small details with amazement. She resembles a human by all accounts, with the colour of her dark hair and her length, but her smell does not tell about that, and she does not appear to be a vampire, or is it possible that she is a hybrid? One of her parents is a vampire and the other is a human; perhaps that is why her smell is weird and unique.

She returned the spoon to the plate, feeling the weight of her stomach, trying to find an answer to his question: "What is her name?" She must have a name, but what is it?

She shook her head, muttering in a shaky tone, "I don't know, I can't remember; is it possible for a person to forget his name? I don't remember my name; I don't remember anything."

She responded that her entity was dispersed and unable to re-acquaintance.

"Well, dear Eva, in this case, it seems that you will not be able to answer any of our questions, no matter for what reason or how you are here, or if you are alone or with us." Isaiah spoke in a cheerful tone, as if trying to soften the atmosphere around him, referring to Jayden with a deliberate look.

« Eva??!! " I asked him in amazement.

"Eva, the mother of mankind, the six of the Eva race, Eva."

He justified it with a smile that she couldn't help but emulate, adding, "Let your name be Eva until you remember your real name."

Rakan stood up from his seat, startled by her, pointing at Isaiah towards the door. "Okay, dear Adam, it's time for us to leave; come on, you will surely find Saray waiting for us at the entrance," he said, pulling Isaiah out of the kitchen before the latter loses himself and woos her in front of them without shame.

Jaden followed the husband in his eyes until they disappeared and returned his attention to Eva, noticing her hungry looks towards his plate, and without realising it, he pushed him towards her, exploiting silence. Proving his worth by deserving those poor meals before he receives them, he must fight fiercely and ruthlessly as a ferocious beast with a group of hungry people and defeat them before he can get them, and then they are forced to watch him devour them in front of them with empty mouths and saliva that only smells

Without daring to approach him, because he who approaches loses his head before he feels.

They prevent him from sharing it with anyone; even if he wanted, they wouldn't allow him. They force him to eat a meal that is sufficient for the whole group on an empty stomach. He devours it until he is full, and then it soon reaches his stomach until he vomits it completely, his stomach unable to bear the pressure that pushed him into it.

Hunger is an infidel; it lets you commit the most heinous acts, turns you into a broken beast whose only concern is to fill its empty and rusty stomach at any cost, even if that price is to remove the loaf from the mouth of your friend, brother, mother, and father, strips you of your humanity, and gradually eliminates you until there is nothing left of you...

Eva stared at the plate for a moment, trying to make sense of its movement. Is he offering her a plate? She raised her eyes to him, staring at the scar that erupted along his cheek, before noticing herself travelling to his emerald eyes, shocked by the dark cruelty that gripped him, consuming him like a hungry fire spreading dry wildfire.

She ran away from them, returning the plate to him and muttering, "I feel full. If I eat more, I will vomit everything in my stomach." justified him.

He brought his plate back to him, nodding his head with a sign of understanding. He immediately ate his plate, and she meditated on it for a few moments before daring to ask.

Are there other villages in this place? Perhaps I came from one of them; I must have come from somewhere, or someone is looking for me."

« No, there is no, that we are on an uninhabited island, a deserted area, surrounded by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean from all sides, and your arrival here is a mysterious, strange, and inexplicable event,

"Surely you did not arrive here by boat, because we watch the beaches around the clock and did not notice the presence of a boat at very long distances from here," he explained to her, deeply rooted in the strangeness and ambiguity of the situation, wondering desperately how she got here.

"I was covered in blood; blood was on my body and my clothes; this means that the trace of blood came from here, on this island," she said in a shaky tone, feeling despair about her condition and not remembering anything. You'll remove the trace of blood from me, won't you?"

She asked him, waiting for confirmation, what he would answer and what would change with his answer since he himself could not find a logical explanation for the whole situation.

The blood that was on it varies for different times, as he was able to distinguish the hadith from it, which belongs to some rodents and rabbits that he thinks were using them as a source of food, but there is definitely more, as the old blood could not be distinguished due to the control of the foetid smell on it, and this is what puzzled him and piqued his curiosity. I am certain that she has been on this island for at least several weeks.

He stood from his seat, noticing that he startled her with his sudden movement away from the table. He reached the door and said, "When you finish eating, follow me, so I can show you where you sleep. Tomorrow early, we will go back to the forest, and we will find a thread that will lead us to your truth."

She stood from her place and followed him, watching his back, feeling that she was very small compared to him. Is this normal? Ben wondered, "Is she too short or is he too big?"

She didn't realise that she was walking behind him awkwardly until she collided with him for a moment when he suddenly stopped. She moaned in pain, rubbing her nose, which hit his back hard, and he turned to her in astonishment. It is not forgetful.

He opened the door and invited her in. The room lit up the moment she stepped on her doorstep, revealing a wide wooden desk that swept a good part of the small room with one seat and a plush sofa, and a library along the opposite wall full of volumes, old and new.

"You'll sleep here while we decide your fate," he told her, warning, "I don't want you to touch anything, only the sofa; you sleep on it, and when you wake up, you leave it; it's not your room, and the things it contains are not yours."

Before she could turn to him, he had left, closing the door behind him.
