THIRTY-nine

The event was finally over as everyone got back to their room. A call entered Naomi's phone so she sneaked a surreptitious walk to the backyard to answer the call. It was Tina.

"So, how did it go?"

Tina asked on the phone

"It was a total failure, Tina, none of your plans ever works!"

Naomi yelled quietly, half-covering her mouth so she wouldn't be heard.

"Hey watch your tongue else?"

Tina fires back

"Else what?"

"Don't get on my nerves lady, remember we're both getting paid for this job."

"But you seem not to have any better plan in that empty head of yours"
