Everyone in the room listened attentively as Zebeu spoke. Cateline was terrified with every word that came out of the old healer's mouth. Her future was uncertain.

"Drink more water, my dear... we need to be sure of what's happening here."

Zebeu said, looking at Cateline, who refilled the glass and drank it without hesitation.

"For safety's sake, we need to arrange a place for the young lady to live away from the village... a place where no one's eyes will reach... the same place where she can raise the child... no one can know about the baby... it's too dangerous."
