Lucinda had finished eating with everyone at the table; Zebeu had been in the castle since the day the siege was set. Helton's guards didn't allow anyone to leave. Joaquim was somewhat relieved by the presence of the healer there, knowing he had someone to rely on if anything happened.

Milenna noticed that Lucinda was behaving strangely; she seemed melancholic and down, unlike her usual self. Her daughter had always been a lively and happy woman, spreading joy and creating a pleasant atmosphere wherever she went. But now, she was so different, almost unrecognizable.

"Daughter... how are you?"
