“Valerie?”

Bella’s sudden confrontation caught Xavion by surprise, he tensed up immediately.

“How did she come into our conversation, little wolf? What are you talking about?”

He calmed his nerves in a split second and asked Bella softly.

“You just woke up, little wolf. How are you feeling now? Are your injuries healed?”

He tried to overlook the main topic, but Bella was persistent. She replayed the scenes of our meeting with Valerie and lashed out.

“Don’t reciprocate until mate answers our every single question.

With that, Bella ran to hide in the darkness of my mind as Zion started grooming her...
