DARIUS’ POV.
“What do you mean by Hazel isn’t here?” I snarled, looking at the scarf offered to me.
“She’s nowhere to be found.” He replied, and I sighed in frustration.
With gritted teeth, I spoke, “There’s no way Hazel could have known I was coming. There’s nowhere for her to go.” My gaze sliced towards Hazel’s stepsister, who stood in the corner, holding her fingers before her as she chewed hard on her lip.
“I… I didn’t do anything.”
