HAZEL’S POV.
Perhaps it was the feeling of restraint that woke me up, or it was the water dripping gently on my face, like a leaking ceiling, I wouldn’t really know.
I felt miserable. My bones were sore, and I couldn’t even feel my arms.
Then suddenly, an icy blast hit my face hard like a slap, drenching me from head to toe. My eyes flew open instantly.
My breath hitched as the water streamed down my face, soaking my hair and plastering my shirt to my skin.
Blinking furiously, I realized I couldn’t even wipe my eyes with my hands. They were tied.
