I watched her leave, suddenly feeling uneasy. It then occurred to me that I’d almost found Hazel, but no single person showed anything close to joy or relief. They all looked somewhat unhappy. 

Like they didn’t want to go about looking for her, or they didn’t want to find her in the first place. 

Not even Xander looked happy. He was more of shocked, in an unpleasant way. It couldn’t be because I beat him up years ago when he was requesting the same thing I was ordering now, right?
