I was walking towards my office when Rogue blocked my way. I paused and my heart raced as I met his eyes looking at me with confusion and anger.

"Why are you avoiding me?" His voice sounded so cold and angry.

I sucked my breath and roamed my eyes around. We have agreed to pretend starting today and it's affecting me so much.

My employees looked at us worriedly. Of course! They knew my relationship with Rogue. It's not a secret in the office and seeing us like this shocked them.

In the corner, I saw Cain looking at us.
