"I'm sorry for your loss, Rowan." Dr. Colton came to my side. "But I need you to know that your wife just narrowly escaped losing her three week pregnancy."

"She's pregnant?"

He nodded in affirmation. "Are you ready to see her? Remember, you have to try to talk about things that wouldn't upset her or cause a rise in her blood pressure. She is in a very delicate situation now. I know it wouldn't be easy not to talk about your... son... but, I think you should try to minimise the discussion...
