"The date"

I managed to get Jasmine out of my body not without struggles though, "hey were you planning to suffocate to dea...." She cut me off "I saw the news Ari" she sang in a loud voice jumping on my bed "how did you get him to talk to you? What does he smell like? What's your relationship with him now? Are you dating now or..??" "Jasmine!!!" I yelled and she stopped talking "please leave my room, I need to sleep" I said trying to lay back down before she hauled me out of the bed and I fell on my butt "Jasmine!!!!" I yelled again but she sat on my bed not moving, I sighed and stood up "what are you doing at home? I thought you should be working?" I asked spreading my arms. She shrugged her shoulders " I rushed to your workplace immediately I heard the news but was told you were on your way home, so I came home" she said and I stared at her wide eyed, "you left your workplace just to ask me these silly questions??" I asked unbelievably,"you could have waited till I'm back home" I said sitting close to her "almost forgot, I have a date tonight" "With JN?!!"she yelled, "no stupid" I said pushing her out of the bed "shushh, leave my room, I need to sleep". Soon I heard the door opening and closing. I relaxed more and soon was fast asleep.

I woke at the sound of my alarm and began preparing for the date, I checked my phone to see a message from Julie telling me to get ready and that she will be coming to my house so that we will go together. I dropped it on the bed and walked into the bathroom for a quick shower, I walked out minutes later and applied body lotion as well as dried my hair. I did a simple but basic make up and packed my hair up leaving some kiss curls which dangled on my face and some touching my shoulders. I wore a simple black gown with sliver shoes and purse. I checked myself out one more time and satisfied with my looks, I walked out of my room and almost bumped into Jasmine, "dinner is.., wow you look beautiful" she commented staring at me in awe "thanks, I will eat later" I replied her as we walked inside the living room with her behind "aren't you going for your celebrity crush's concert?" I asked inquisitive, "errr nah, got the wrong info, the show is tomorrow night not tonight" she answered "ohh, can I ask for a little favor from you Jas??" I said, " sure, what's it?" She asked munching on the cookies in her hand, "do you mind getting me a ticket for the next JN's show?, I would love to attend" I asked unsure of the reason I said that, Jasmine looked at me suspiciously "sure, but why the sudden change of heart?" She asked and I chuckled nervously "nothing" "then why.." we were interrupted by a knock on the door, I walked outside to meet Julie and together we left our date in her red sports car.

We got to the restaurant and walked inside the building, we sighted the table where George sat with a friend and walked towards it. George on seeing Julie stood up to hug her but his friend sat still peering into the menu, "nice to see you Ariel" George greeted with a smile which I returned, "come on, let's eat" he said as we settled round the table, I was sitting close to Julie and faced his friend who has not raised his face ever since we arrived, so rude. "Sorry about my friend Ariel, he's much of an introvert, I had to force him to come with me" I nodded my head in agreement, "meet my best friend Philip, Philip meet Ari, Julie's friend from work" he introduced, that was when he raised his face and I looked on in shock, "Philip!", "Ariel", we said simultaneously smiling, "you know each other?" Julie asked surprised, "I guess that's good enough" George said smiling at us. George is handsome with deep green eyes, he wore a white shirt and a black pants, he had a red tie which matched Julie's red gown. Philip was on white and his blue eyes smiled at me in admiration, "you look beautiful, Ari" he complimented and I blushed slightly, "you don't look bad yourself" I said, "aww, Ari is blushing" she said in a childlike voice and I glared playfully at her, "it's nice to finally see you open up and smile so wide, Phil" George commented.

The rest of the evening went well with I and Philip chatting away. We finished dinner and took a walk to the water fountain opposite the restaurant, the cool evening breeze blew across my face making my hair scatter, I groaned in frustration as I tried to put it in order, Philip chuckled and without wasting time, pulled my pink hair down, my hair was flying all over as we ran around the water fountain. We took pictures and laughed as we played like teenagers. Soon we sat down and peered into each other eyes and then lips before Philip covered the distance between us smashing his lips against mine and I let out a surprised gasp, he slipped his tongue into my lips as he explored my mouth, we pulled out when we heard the clicking of the camera, Julie stood with her phone taking pictures of us while George smiled widely as Philip and winked at me. I felt heat rise up to my cheeks. I think I'm in love.

We walked back to our cars and Philip offered to drive me home, we laughed and chatted on our way back until we got to my house. He gave me a goodnight kiss on my forehead and watched me walk inside the house, he drove away and I closed the door resting my back on it with a wide smile on my face. Jasmine walked right inside the living room with a smile, "come on girl, spill it" we walked into my room as we talked about my date with Phil, we ended up sleeping off in my room.
