Allison pov's

that's my mum for you she's cool very funny and generous she's the best mum ever and my dad is kind but very Strict

I love both of them very much but I was particularly close to my mum

my dad is so old fashion he hardly remember birthdays even his own, always on a business trip

"Allison don't sleep in the bedroom" my mum yelled from here outside

"rara ma (no ma ) am almost done"

I step out of the bathroom got dressed and went to the sitting room

"you have to stop spending too much time in the bedroom se o Fe di eja ni (do you want to turn to mermaid) ?? she ask in her native language

"no I don't want to turn to fish I'm not a mermaid" I answer and she laughed

"your principal just called me he said he need to see both of us did you do something wrong" she ask looking at me in a very funny way

"no ma you know I'm a good girl I resemble you na"

"ok then get ready let's go" she said standing up

I went to put on my sandal and follow her to the car

At school

"Good day oga principal"my Mum greet

"oh hi mrs Adam" he reply exchanging handshake

"actually the reason why I called you here is ......."

" because of my daughter" my mum interrupted not like she was being rude but the principal is like a sleeping tablet his speech alone will make you feel sleepy and he talks so slow

"yes yes your daughter is a very brilliant girl she's good both in sport and in Academy after our last swimming competition she was given an award and a scholarship

to study in any country of her choice" he said smiling

"oh my god this is amazing Allison I'm so proud of you my daughter"

my mum was overjoyed

she was very happy for me I was also overjoyed I can finally go to my dream country and be free from that old soldier

"so dear which country are you going to"?" the principal ask

" KOREAN!!! I screamed

Fast forward

"mum could you drive faster we are going to miss my flight" I said with excitement all over me

"calm down girl we are almost there"

we got to the airport 5 minutes later

my mum was so emotional when I was about to leave

"yes ma I remember" I said hugging her before dragging my luggage to the plane

" Korea" I screamed

"thank you principal we will get going now" mrs Adams said , collecting the scholarship certificate before dragging me outside

"Mum please I really love Korean and I want to go there" I kept on repeating the same statement which I have been repeating for the past 5 minutes but my mum just kept driving and choose to ignore me

"Mummm please" I drag her name giving her a puppy face which I know she could not resist

" please can you just say something"

"oh dear i don't know what to say but if you wish to go I will try and talk to your dad if he's going to agree" she said parking a car

"thanks Mum you are the best" i said hugging her happily

"so here I am in the plane "

my dad did not agree at first but my mum threatened to leave him if he refuse so he agree immediately to let me go

oh my god this city is so beautiful

a taxi arrived in front of me

"hello ma'am are you miss Allison Adam" he asked politely

wow he's so cute

" uhmm yh I am " I reply trying to compose myself

okay Ma'am I'm your driver your daddy already arrange everything for you here so I'm going to take you to where you're going to be living from now on" he said , ushering me inside
