Ryder announced to the noisy pack members, striding inside hurriedly. He noticed the way her pack members easily got frustrated on Yuna despite her several attempts to keep them together.

The members naturally went silent over Ryder's assurance since he was the next Alpha King of all werewolves. Yuna's rage sobered a little, letting her best friend take care of the matter again this time. Yuna knew that Ryder was always good in convincing people probably because of his gen. Squeezing past through the crowd, Ryder climbed off to the stage, standing beside Yuna to speak loudly,

" Yuna has been all her life to find the incurable curse of this pack yet you blame her? Is this how you treat your Alpha? I am sorry to say that you are dissapointing her. Besides, it's not her fault that the moon goddess is angry on your pack. She hasn't even tried to build her own family because of this pack responsibilities. Don't push her so hard that she gets fed up on you. Since you all have waited so long, why can't you wait a bit longer? Moon goddess should be born in this era. We are searching for her everywhere."

Zeke, Yuna's beta soon joined, defending his Alpha in a passive manner,

" If you still don't trust your Alpha, ask someone else to take over the responsibility. She isn't obligated to take each responsibilities of this pack in this young age."

The members appeared defeated under their comments. Although, they weren't entirely satisfied with their current situation, going inside the pack, they all knew that it was very chaotic to hold responsibility of a pack who couldn't find fated mate, always run for troubles and lack powerful mate bond. Yuna had been pretty good at handling except the fact that their curse was still on their heads.

Soon the situation was under their control and the members retreated, gossiping and whispering something. The case remained unsettled because of the heated moments but Yuna knew that she had to approve it sooner or later. Yuna sighed sending a look to Ryder thankfully. Only her beta and Ryder, her best friend had been the best support in her entire life.

Ryder came over to give her an encouraging smile,

" You know how impatient they are. Don't blame yourself, Yuna."

Yuna sighed, looking down at the ground blankly,

" I don't blame them, Ryder. It's just..I feel useless..for not curing them so far.. Families are splitting apart yet I can't do anything.."

Ryder's gaze softened on her as he pulled her into her embrace, cooing softly,

" We will find her soon. She will have mercy on us definitely, Yuna."

Evening fell over Radenwood land, greeting with a happy occasion. As a representer of Raden Wolves, Yuna had to attend the Gala even though she carried cold grudges against the vampires. But their peace protocols bounded her with responsibilities, leaving her no choice to put a blind eye on this occasion. She didn't want any new raging troubles for her pack.

Their SUV stopped sharp at 6p.m in front of Gala house. Alphas and vampires found their way inside happily. It was the only occasion that werewolves and vampires joined together.

Yuna hopped down from her SUV, tugging on the uncomfortable dress that she wore today. Her stylist,Nora forced this outfit on her. A knee length tight top with deep neck-shape, her caramel skin were on full view, butterfly necklace glistening between her curves, everything look amusingly perfect on her. Her curls were being straightened today to give her a different look than other times. She looked nothing less than a model from magazine.

Ryder was waiting at the entrance to receive her from the beginning. His jaw dropped once he found her girl in sexy outfit. He swallowed hard but his hunger was loosing control.

Maybe, he could try to confess her today one more times!

Yuna joined him, looking around to ask casually,

" Your father isn't here today?"

Ryder nodded blowing his cheeks out to hide his obvious look,

" Yeah, he is in here with the new lord already. You haven't met him yet, have you? He is going to officially introduced to the Alphas today."

Yuna shurgged bitterly, least interested into vampire and their rituals,

" No! He was crowned only two months ago when I was on vacation. Besides, I don't care who is taking over the throne of vampires. They aren't my people."

Ryder smiled knowingly and tugged her to enter into the house hand in hands.

All the attention were on Yuna as soon as she entered into the crowd, people spending second to stare at her beauty. Her walk carried modesty, dominance that she had from her birth. Being the first female Alpha of leading a pack had never occurred before.

Some Alphas admired her truthfully but nobody dared to approach her since the curse was known by everyone. Some thought that their pack would be detested by the moon goddess if they made bond with her. Besides, Ryder, the next Alpha King was always around her. So everyone thought that they would claim each others as their mate one day.

Yuna knew about the Alphas intention. So she was kind of free from other worries and refrained herself from greeting them personally. It was always Ryder and her, chatting at a corner in every gathering.

A host from vampires announced loudly, snapping everyone's attention on the colorful stage,

" Thank you Alphas for attending our ceremony today. Now, we introduce the new vampire lord of all the vampires, Kaden Reagan officially."

Yuna's wolf purred inside when the name reverberated inside her mind, giving her an unknown excitement. Yuna furrowed, trying to conceal the happiness that her wolf was having for whatever reason.

Heavy footsteps begun to echo from the entrance, instantly silencing all the creatures residing inside the room as a show of respect. The new lord was here finally, spreading his kingly aura and making them all summoning to him in a snap of moment.

" Hello Alphas!", that heavy voice rang around the room, causing Yuna to have goosebumps all over her body. There was something wrong within her wolf today. She was magically attracted to that certain voice without seeing the face.

Just look at him!

Her wolf rumbled but she shunned her idea off, clearly not interested into vampires. Ryder noticed a slight discomfort on her face, asking with concern,

" Are you okay, Yuna?"

Yuna muttered assuring and decided to grab few more wines to clear her thoughts. Maybe the need of starting a family had started to kick her brain off. She trotted over her high heels to walk away from the crowd with Ryder following him always. He wanted to use this moment to share his feelings for her.

All that he needed was a good timing!

Meanwhile, Kaden greeted the Alphas formally and mentally tried to find the Alpha from Radenwood. He happened to hear the last incident accidentally. One of his vampire was killed by her just because he crossed the border. Although, it was settled from the beginning, Kaden expected her to act softly but No! She killed him. He met each one of them but didn't see any female one.

Maybe, she was hiding to not face him?

Yuna had few shots of vodka until Ryder stopped her, growling at her careless attitude. He hissed tugging her away from the crowd,

" Stop making troubles here, Yuna. You haven't even greeted the new lord."

Yuna scowled stumbling a few steps to hold on Ryder,

" I don't give a fuck. He isn't us. Let's dance, Ryder. My wolf is weird today. Help me distract her."

Ryder sighed and put his arms around her, bringing her to the dance floor. The music was soothing in their background, slow and sensual. Ryder couldn't take his eyes off from her. He was very unskilled with words but he could do something else..maybe. kissing her..

Unware about Ryder's thoughts, Yuna was lost in her own thoughts. Her wolf was impatient for something. It didn't like to stay with Ryder and wanted to go somewhere else but where?

Shaking away those thoughts again, Yuna looked around casually and noticed a man in tight black suit, few steps away from them. He was very long,dark curls and had a smugness permanently set on his face. He was chatting with Ryder's father from sideways. Unknowingly, she stared hard at the way, drinking his appearance like a fool.

Ryder didn't notice anything except her painted and craving lips. He sucked his own lips dry and breathed heavily to calm his nerves.

Just kiss her and get everything fixed, Ryder! His wolf offered and he hesitated few more moments.

Yuna had her eyes at that way until the man in black suit suddenly turned his head on her way. Their eyes connected for a few moments and sparks flickered through her heart. The word that should be never coming out from her mouth rolled out invoulantarily, stunning the entire crowd with a growl,

" MATE!"
