My eyes blinked furiously and with difficulty, I adjusted my sight to accommodate the unusual brightness in the room.

 I managed to take a quick look around the huge, space which would be empty if I wasn't there, and I noticed a huge gap on the ceiling which gave sunlight a point of entry.
