Captain Carlos came out again to address everyone. “I want you all not to get scared as we would be progressing deep. You are in safe hands.”

“Good!” I commented, smiling.

“First, we are going to the changing rooms,” Carlos said, further leading the way. I guessed he has a crush on me. Alex and I quickly change into our snorkeling gear, eager to begin our underwater adventure.

As we changed, I stole glances at Alex, my heart racing with excitement. I was really thrilled to be sharing this experience with him.
