My head was splitting in two.

I blinked, trying to clear my vision, but the headache I felt just made everything look like it was swirling in a vicious circle.

Breathe Kaida. This is not the time to panic.

I slowly turned on my side, a groan escaping my mouth as the coldness of the sheets penetrated through my fevered skin.

Ugh. Why is it so cold in here? Were they trying to freeze me to death? Even my legs were numb from the cold.

It was also dark. Or maybe my vision was just that truly fucked.

I lay quietly still, waiting patiently for the drumming...
