LUCIEN DRAVEN POV
"What the hell is this," I roared, hurling my phone across the room.
Helena flinched, the fear in her eyes glaring as they moved from mine to the shattered phone.
When she looked back at me, her words were soft, almost careful. "Lucien, you need to calm down."
I twitched, rage flaring hot in my chest. Of all the things she could say, she chose that.
"If you just calm down" she continued, reaching for my arm, "we can—"
"Don't touch me," I snapped, my voice sharper than I intended.
Her hands fell, the hurt in her eyes unmistakable.
My mind was spiralling too much to care....
