Anna's POV

I watched with Ethan as the party unfolded in full frenzy in front of my eyes. Luke had become the CEO of his father's company. I was happy for him but I was going to miss. Since he was CEO now that means one thing, he won’t really have time for little chit chat and friendly talks.

I could spot Luke mom there beaming, like it was one moment she was waiting for. I watched him collect lots of handshakes and well wishes.

“My nephew-in-law is a CEO. What more is new in this life” came Scott's voice behind me and I grinned and turned.
