I was done being father’s puppet, his plaything to use as he likes and discard when it didn’t suit his taste. He hadn’t discarded me yet and he never will because I was his only son and heir to the Charlton’s empire, legacy and name.

I didn’t want all these, I didn’t even need it. I wanted Anna, I needed her in my life, to feel her nude body in my arms, to feel her kisses wake me up every morning. What more could I wish for if I had that.
