He fucking took a seat opposite me, and just stared at me momentarily before he burst out laughing.

Honestly, he was enjoying his life right now but it wasn't going to last long. I let him because deep down, I wasn't like my father. My father never spared anyone. I let him laugh all he wanted and when he settled down, I went straight into business.

“You're so comfortable here. I can see they are treating you nicely.”

“Why thank you for making my life here a bit better than Anna's life outside, I really appreciate it brother.”
