Anna's POV

I guess this was why he didn't like coming, right? His mom was clearly all over him like he was her reward or something. I wondered if Karina got the same treatment.

When she was done playing with her son, she looked at me, then a full blown smile displayed on her face. Before I even knew what was happening, she pulled me in for a long hug, hugging me like I was her long lost daughter.

“Anna! Look at you! I'm so happy to see you.”

She finally pulled away and just kept staring at my face.
