I must've slept for a very long time because when I woke up and staggered out of the room, it was dark out and Adrian was watching a documentary in the living room.

“You're up.”

I could tell that my hair was disheveled but that was all I could really make out of any situation at that.

He dragged me down and I straddled him on his lap.

“Did you sleep well?”
