After cleaning up the smoothie, I came in to meet her crying again. I mean, serious tears were all over her face. It broke my heart because she was going through so much for no reason. She fucking worked to pay for her tuition all by herself.

She wanted to work and hid it from me so as not to hurt my feelings. It's not as if she wasn't trying! The world was just a very sad place to be in.
