Ethan had left after the meal, said he had classes in an hour and had to leave. I cleared out the dishes, washed them and left them to dry then stared at the calendar, my eyes widened.

In all my predicament I had forgotten that exams were soon approaching. Last time I had barely escaped. I had to study. I also had classes in an hour or so.
