ADRIAN’S POV

We waltzed in like a couple. Well, I kind of wanted that now. I wanted people to think that we were together, even if she may not like it. Call me selfish, but she had charmed me and made me mad. I liked her.

When we walked into the library, the workers came to welcome me. That's when I noticed that some of my father's men were already there.

It would bother me if they were actually following me. There's just no way, it can't be.

Well, I ignored them and took Anna in. When they welcomed us, she interacted very well with one of the female workers...
