“Scarlett, quickly clean up all the weeds in the yard!”

“Yes madam.”

It's a normal day at the orphanage, I have to help numerous people in this place, the older I get, the more responsibilities I have to do.

Tomorrow is my sixteenth birthday, and I'm getting older, I'm getting scared because I will be kicked out of this orphanage when I grow up.

I continue to do everything according to what has been ordered by the owner of this orphanage so that I can stay here longer.

Because I'm scared and don't know about the outside world, of course, there will be many bad people, and it will be difficult for me to find a job because I don't have proper education, and I am poorly skilled.

At the orphanage, suddenly there was a beautiful and charming middle-aged woman, but she kept staring at me.

Everyone greets her with full respect, and they look so happy when she comes.

She immediately talked to the owner of the orphanage, and sporadically, she looked at me.

“Yes madam.”

“Come here and introduce yourself to Mrs. Grace.”

I introduced myself briefly to Mrs. Grace, and she greeted me well, she looks so kind and warm.

The owner of the orphanage and Mrs. Grace kept talking while looking at me.

“Does madam not want a daughter younger than her?”

“No, I feel connected to her, she is beautiful with good manners, looks kind, and is very positive, I have been attracted to her since the first time I met her.”

“Okay, deal, we can agree with it, about adopting a daughter from this orphanage home.”

She nods and signs the agreement then she holds my hands, this is the first time for me, to feel the warmth and touch of someone as worthy as my biological mother.

“Come with me, you will move from here and stay in place, that will be your new home.”

“Yes, thank you very much, madam.”

“Don't call me madam, just call me mom, I have been yearning for a long time to have a beautiful daughter like you.”

Finally, I feel happy because there is someone very kind and willing to adopt me.

Now all the fears that, I felt, have disappeared, and become happier, I promise to continue to love and take care of my adoptive mother, no matter what.

“We have arrived.”

My eyes widened when I saw the house in front of me.

This house looked very luxurious and entirely different from normal houses, but this was a modern castle for most people, huge and luxurious.

Several people were so busy unloading my foster mother's luggage, and mine too, but I felt so embarrassed because those people took my dirty bag.

“They are all my assistants, you have to get used to them if you live with me, if you need anything you can call the assistants.”

“Yes, mom.”

Turns out they were all assistants, I even felt embarrassed because I looked so dirty and shabby compared to their appearance.

Especially my foster mother, she looks beautiful and elegant, with a very classy appearance.

“Rita, this is my daughter, Scarlett, you can guide her about the various facilities in this place and show her the room she will live in, she must be tired after the long journey from her orphanage.”

“Yes madam.”

I was directed to see the full range of facilities in this house, as well as the room that will be my bedroom.

I can't stop being amazed at the various luxuries in this place, including my new bedroom.

Because I felt so tired, I immediately fell asleep, the next morning I heard someone knocking on my door.

It turned out to be my foster mother, I could see happiness and gratitude on her beautiful face.

“Good morning Scarlett, I've bought some dresses and jewelry for you, today you will get acquainted with one of our family members.”

“Thank you so much, mom.”

I see all that dress looks so fancy, and I feel I don't deserve all those fancy dresses and jewelry, but I have to obey my foster mother who is very kind and treats me like her daughter.

I've changed my clothes and put on makeup, I feel more beautiful than before, who used to look shabby and now looks elegant.

After finishing, I left my room, but I felt shocked because I saw a man passing in front of my room.

“Hey, who are you?”

“I'm Scarlett, Madam Grace has taken me to this place.”

“My mom, who has brought you here?”

I nod and he kept staring at me.

“That's okay, I'm Pierre, I'm just going home after studying and staying in France for a long time.”

He smirks and then walks past me, I feel my heart beat after I saw him.

Pierre is the most handsome man I have ever known, he is just physically so perfect with his dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and perfectly build body, he is so charming and full of charisma, really blows my mind.

And he was looking at me very seriously, his eyes looked deep at me when he said something that I didn't even understand the meaning of, but it meant a lot to me.

I walked downstairs and saw my foster mother waiting for me, and she smiled when I came to her.

Then Pierre came too, and he couldn't take his eyes off me.

“Pierre, this is Scarlett, and she has become one of our family members, I feel so happy to have a beautiful daughter like her, so you will be her brother.”

“Yes, mom, I feel so happy as well.”

“I hope you can teach her about many things, and take care of her, we will send her to a better education too.”

“Yes, mom, I agree with that, welcome to our Scarlett family.”

I feel happy because I have a great family who loves me.

In the past, I lived in sadness and darkness, now I feel grateful for everything I have, everything feels like dreams come true to me.
